- Market the area with a vision for the future including search engine optimization and local newspaper headlines and content
- Champion the greater Dickinson County as countywide public relationa representative
IMPROVEMENT OF COUNTY INFRASTRUCTURE
- Address the housing epidemic issue across Dickinson County and support s to including improve.
- Engage in efforts to improve freight rail, air transport, and roadways.
- Encourage renovation of private properties to improve the overall appearance and function of homes, business spaces, and public spaces.
EDUCATION STIMULUS
- Collaborate as one voice with private sector to influence the local education curriculum with area schools and community college regarding the skills needed across the county.
- Coordinate collaborative events and efforts to educate administration, staff, students, and parents.
- Support the advancement of Bay College in Iron Mountain to further support community and badness needs
RETENTION AND GROWTH OF CURRENT BUSINESSES
- Act as a bridge between private and public sector to encourage optimal cooperation for the advancement and retention of the business climate.
- Provide site-selection assistance.
- Recruit and support businesses that will bring new money to the area.
- Encourage entrepreneurial spirit of the area and provide research based been practices, knowledge of local demographics, and information regarding state initiatives and programs, to support new business efforts.
