The Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center (OGJVAMC) is celebrating 70 years of serving Veterans this year. The medical center is located in Iron Mountain, MI and oversees seven clinics in Ironwood, Hancock, Marquette, Sault Ste. Marie, Menominee, Manistique, MI and Rhinelander, WI. The facility was named in honor of Oscar G. Johnson, a local WWII Veteran and Medal of Honor recipient. OGJVAMC employs more than 760 staff at its main facility and community-based outreach clinics and is one of the largest employers in Dickinson County, MI. OGJVAMC annually serves over 20,000 Veterans in 24 counties (15 in MI and 9 in WI).
